”I was born and raised here on the island. I met Serena at a Gallery opening in 2007.
I was only 17 years old. We started to talk about art on Curaçao. My mother took me to Serena’s house where we painted and talked more. I took her plans & work very serious. I started to paint Chichi®s at her first atelier at Spanish Water. She taught me a lot!
After my bachelor I went for one year to Europe and Turkey. I love Curaçao and came back to my island and started painting Chichi®s again in 2010.
I love it. I wish I could dedicate more time to it, but work and studying keeps me pretty occupied. Painting is relaxing and I am proud of my work.”
